The Believers drive is likened to the eagle, on the premise of these advantages: flight, soaring, vision, precision, strength and predation. But the reality of these features is tested in the want of wings.
There is no eagle without wings. There is no tree if there was no sprout.
Beloved, like the eagle, we must grow wings, and it must be renewed. We must take flight and soar on the winds. Soaring is the way forward. By the wind of the Spirit, we spread our impact on the fields within our view.
Like seeds planted in the earth, we sprout forth into blooming crops, bearing fruits and spreading our influence in the World. There is now therefore the need for our growing. Grow-wings!
Let us take flash back down memory lane a little. I may not know what it was like for you growing up, but I can atleast share my perspective.
As juveniles we learnt, that growing wings was tantamount to behaving in a way that was hitherto "too bold" for our age. Our parents would often regard it as inappropriate and unacceptable. Perhaps, such behavior was borne out of exuberance or pressure that came with that age. Nevertheless, such a child who grew wings only became attuned with certain knowledge. It is not uncommon, therefore, to literally connect our growth with knowledge.
We have grown so much because we know so much.
So, for our venturing into influence, we should grow such wings again: Do the unusual! Pursue knowledge! Get 'too bold', and launch out into the sea of people in the world, shining the light. Making full proof of our calling. Let's fly.
